What equipment do I need?
Some of our workouts can be done without any equipment, but we recommend dumbbells, resistance bands, a kettlebell and steps bench. Dumbbells - we recommend 2-3kg (4-7lbs) Kettlebell - we recommend 6-7kg (13-15lbs) Resistance bands - get any that can comfortably be worn around your thighs Steps board - an adjustable non-slip board You may increase weights gradually over time. How do I find the workout schedule?
Once you select a monthly schedule. the workout schedule can be found below the workout video (on mobile device) or beside the video (on laptop or your tv). Monthly workout schedules are published at the beginning of each month and new workouts are added weekly. Your workout days are on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Rest days are Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays. Calendar
Are the workouts beginner friendly?
Whether you’re new to Afrifitness or dance-style workouts, Afrifitness Extra offers various workouts for beginners. Don’t be intimidated, you will get into the flow of things faster than you think! Join our community support on the Afrifitness app to lean on other members and our team for guidance. The monthly workouts give you structure, support, inspiration and community as you begin your fitness journey.
Are the workouts live?
All workouts on the challenge are pre-recorded so you can access them anytime at your convenience! We run weekly live Zoom sessions for annual members if you would like to connect with your Sweat Sisters.
How do I find the meal plan?

Login to your account and you'll be automatically redirected to your workouts. Alternatively, you can visit your workout library here.
I'm pregnant. Are the workouts safe?
First off, congratulations!! Each pregnancy is special and unique so we’d recommend discussing with your physician or medical professional if you can safely workout. If you do decide to join our classes, avoid high impact exercises, don't over exert yourself and always listen to your body and your baby.
